Supply Chain Management
Flytech has obtained ISO 14001 environmental management system certification and ISO 45001 occupational safety and health management system certification, demonstrating our commitment to environmental responsibility and worker safety. We actively encourage our suppliers to adhere to government regulations concerning environmental protection and occupational safety and health.
To ensure compliance, we regularly distribute environmental, safety, and health survey forms to our suppliers. This execution advocates for reducing environmental impact, proper waste disposal, legal compliance, and continuous improvement in various environmental and workplace safety measures.
Moreover, we are dedicated to establishing a green supply chain, which includes selecting new suppliers that hold ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. We also require qualified suppliers to submit hazardous substance restriction reports, ensuring compliance with international environmental regulations. Additionally, we provide a conflict minerals survey form to align with international human rights standards.
We openly communicate our commitment to environmentally friendly and sustainable operations to our suppliers. As of 2022, 57.41% of our suppliers have signed the Corporate Social Responsibility and Integrity Commitment (RBA Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct). Moving forward, we will continue to support our suppliers in obtaining international quality, environmental, and occupational safety and health certifications. Together, we will strive to develop low-carbon and environmentally friendly raw materials, processes, and transportation methods, working towards a sustainable future.
Conflict Minerals Policy
Aligned with principles of corporate social responsibility, humanitarian justice, and environmental stewardship, Flytech remains vigilant in addressing the issue of conflict minerals. We are dedicated to conducting thorough supply chain investigations by mandating suppliers to complete the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) and Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT) provided by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI). These templates verify that tin (Sn), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), gold (Au), cobalt (Co) and mica materials utilized by suppliers do not originate from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or conflict zones controlled by armed groups in neighboring countries. This standardization ensures comprehensive information collection from all suppliers.
Simultaneously, we advocate for the continued use of non-conflict minerals sourced responsibly from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighboring regions to support ethical mining practices in the area. Our commitment to responsible procurement extends collaboratively with our suppliers. Consequently, Flytech has outlined the following policies and commitments:
- Refrain from procuring conflict minerals originating from conflict zones.
- Mandate suppliers to abstain from purchasing and using conflict minerals from conflict areas and provide the CMRT and CRT survey forms.
- Promptly inform suppliers to disclose the use of conflict minerals in their products and propose strategies for their elimination.
- Require suppliers to relay this requirement to their upstream suppliers.
